    1881 "Battle of Groton Heights" So-Called Dollar
    :
    This is a Not Graded (un-graded) Coin of "The Battle of Groton Heights" that measures about 1 3/8".  The obverse shows two American soldiers reloading and firing their muskets while being attacked by the British at the Fort Griswold Massacre. Their determination echoes the legend; “We will not give up the fort, let the consequence be what they may.” The outline of Fort Griswold is displayed on the reverse. This coin is in excellent condition with some light handling wear with the images and words easily seen
