This is a wonderfully patriotic World War II propaganda poster showing a tight fisted American (presumed) housewife with a determined look on her face and below her are there are seven keys spelling out the word "
VICTORY
", next to each key is an action that those on the home front should strive to do to help the war effort.
The Office of Economic Stabilization was established pursuant to the Stabilization Act of 1942, as a means to control inflation during World War II through regulations on price, wage, and salary increases
The poster measures 20 x 28 inches, there are two 1 inch closed tears at the left blank margin and two 3 inch closed tears at the right blank margin, few other tiny closed tears, 2 pin holes at intersecting creases and a small chip at lower left blank area otherwise in good condition, bright and clean, odor free.
A scarce poster, it will be an interesting addition to your collection.
